Putting together a Membership Site is a lot of work.

Thank God for tools like WishList Member! I’m going to work on documenting my experiance putting together this site using the WishList Member Tools.

So far, my biggest issue has been looking for and finding a clear process diagram that explains how to create the proper level of content protection need to promote the various Membership models supported by WishList Member. Ok, I guess I’ve promoted my affiliate link enough here. ;-}

Seriously, the configurability of WishList Member to support everything from a simple membership site, to a Training site supporting interval based content delivery is great. The hard part is figuring out what kind of site your really want to develop.

One of the tips I picked up that is really helping me is a WordPress Plugin that replaces the standard Word Press Page and Post Editor. Check out Dean’s FCKEditor For Wordpress. This editor is much better than trying to use that tiny visual editor in WP and for most things it’s easier than coping your posts and pages from an external editing tool.
